I studied Business & Marketing at Oxford Brookes University before stepping onto one of London's most demanding graduate sales floors — and staying for a decade. From day one, I was immersed in the real world of high-performance sales: fast-paced, high-pressure and unforgiving.

Those years were spent in the fire. Intense, high-pressure, relentless. But rather than simply surviving, I thrived — and more importantly, I learned how to help others thrive. From the very beginning, I was drawn to developing the people around me.

Over 17 years I have personally coached, developed and inspired over 500 individuals — from entry-level graduates to senior directors. What I am most proud of is not a revenue figure. It is my retention rate. In industries notorious for burnout and churn, my teams stayed, grew and won — because they felt genuinely respected and invested in.

Early in my leadership career, I ran a sales competition for my team. The prize? A single coffee from Starbucks. My team laughed. Then they competed — harder than they had for any bonus or incentive I'd ever seen.

The winner didn't care about the coffee. They cared about being seen. About being recognised in front of their peers. About being the one who stood up and won.
